Here at Treehouse Early Learning Manly, we want to give children rich and diverse experiences that promote environmental sustainability, to help them become aware and responsible for the future of their world. Our broader community helps us enrich the childrens’ learning experiences through incursions, which include talks from community leaders and a variety of respected educational experts.
Our location in beautiful Bayside Manly also means we are walking distance from the ocean and lots of beachside Adventure Time excursion fun, including visiting the beach and mudflats, where children can spot marine life and bird tracks, play hide-and-seek with cheeky crabs and explore the living ecosystem that’s right on our doorstep!
We are also close to child-friendly spots like the local playgrounds, that are located across the Manly foreshore with its kiddie slides and climbing opportunities, whilst taking in the bay breeze!
Excursions outside our Centre provide valuable opportunities for children and their families to explore the wider community and enhance our educational programs, such as a walk into Manly Village, to post a letter to our friends in North Queensland, as part of our Pen Pal Program or Adventure Time can involve everything from picnicking in local parks and visiting local attractions, to exploring the beautiful Manly shoreline and beach front. These will of course follow state-based policies and procedures and notification is given to families and permission requested. Children who are not engaged in these experiences will remain at the Centre and be offered alternative learning experiences.
